Moray Inetgrated Drug and Alcohol Services
MIDAS is based at 252 High Street Elgin and is an integrated service. The Moray Council Social Workers/Family Support Works and NHS Grampian Community Psychiatric Nurses.
What does the Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service offer?
- Advice and support for drug/alcohol users
- Advice and support for families particularly where use of substances impacts on the care of children
- Advice and support to young substance users (with the consent of parents/guardians if under age of 16 year)
- Substitute prescribing
- Information on how to access free needle exchange
- Home detoxification, advice and support
- Residential Detox/Rehabilitation
Referral and Assessment Process
All assessments will be conducted at the Access Point and you will be offered this service if it is what you need.
Family Planning
- Free Condom service and family planning advice
- Substance education/training for clinical staff/social work staff and other agencies
Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm
