The Moray ADP has teamed up with STRADA to undertake training for those who work in a drug and alcohol field. There are a selection of courses from Substance Misuse in Pregnancy to Supporting Behaviour Change. Please click oon the link below to access the training available.

Outcomes Training

The Scottish Drugs Forum and Evaluation Support Scotland will be providing Outcomes training in Moray on the 14 and 15 September 2010.
About this event
This one and a half day training event is aimed at drug service staff who want to identify what outcomes are and how to collect information to report on outcomes.

Whos Who and Whats What
Whos Who & Whats What aims to raise awareness of sexual health services in Moray and encourage sharing of best practice.
The training event is aimed at youth workers, nurses, health visitors, guidance staff and the voluntary sector and is delivered in a workshop format.
Those who have attended previous workshops felt that essential knowledge was gained and was extremely relevant to their practice.

Older People and Substance Misuse
29th September 2010, Glasgow
This conference will address the growing issue of substance misuse by older people. It will provide delegates with an overview of the current trends of substance misuse amongst older people and the issues involved in working with them, including perspectives from the health, social care and voluntary sectors. The conference will be of interest to anyone working with older people in any capacity and will allow for discussion and information exchange on this important issue.
